Testing Center

Haney Technical College Testing Center provides a variety of testing services. These include Pearson Vue, CASAS, ASE and FAA (PSI). 

CASAS 

CASAS – Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems, provides testing of basic and academic skills for youth and adults. Testing is offered on select dates at 8:30 a.m. (Please arrive by 8:15am.) The test is $20, and covers mathematics and and reading. A valid, government-issued picture identification is required to register. Pre-registration is required for this test. You may pre-register in Student Services. You must be registered 24 hours prior of testing. For information regarding exemptions, please click on this link: CASAS Exemptions. GED®

GED® is offered weekly, every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Registration for GED® 2014 testing may be done by going to www.GED.com.

ASE

The Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is scheduled by appointment only. Preregistration and payment is required via ASE.com and select the Register Now! link. Then schedule an appointment at the testing center by calling (850) 767-5508

FAA

FAA - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is scheduled by appointment only.  All airmen will be required to establish an FAA Tracking Number (FTN) within the Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA) system before taking any FAA airman knowledge test. This identification number will be printed on the applicant’s Airman Knowledge Test Report (AKTR) in replacement of the Applicant ID number. The FTN is an 8-digit unique and permanent number assigned to each FAA certificate holder. The assignment of this number has historically happened upon establishing an account in IACRA or generated once a paper application is received by the FAA Airmen Registry. To obtain an FTN in IACRA, applicants will need to register at the following link and follow the instructions provided: https://iacra.faa.gov/IACRA/Default.aspx. If you already have an FAA certificate, then you already have an FTN. To find your FTN, you can log into IACRA and locate your FTN in the top left corner of the Applicant Console under “User Information."  https://iacra.faa.gov/IACRA/Default.aspx
Upon establishing an FTN in IACRA, the candidate will then need to visit the PSI True Talent Online Scheduling page to create an account using their individual FTN number to schedule and pay for all FAA AKT exams.   https://faa.psiexams.com/faa/login

TEAS

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) has proven to be a reliable admissions tool to predict future health science academic success. Please see the Practical Nursing page for additional info including cost and dates.  Please arrive no later than 8:15am.
