Unless exempt, students’ competency in reading, math, and language is assessed within six (6) weeks of program entry.
This program is designed to prepare students for entry into the automotive service industry. Students study safety regulations, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment skills, and customer service. Additionally, students explore the requirements of automotive service as a career as well as being a professional automotive mechanic.
This program is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of five (5) occupational completion points (OCPs).
