Staff members who support veterans and military-connected students with special needs. Our counselors and success center support students who need additional support.
Recognitions for our veterans on Veterans’ Day and Memorial Day.
A student-led veterans’ group where students support and help each other navigate career and technical education. The staff sponsor to that group is pictured below, Michael Campbell, who is a Tom P. Haney Alumni and staff member.
The Florida Collegiate Purple Star Campus Program was established by the Florida legislature in 2023 and further defined in Rule 6A-1.09991, Florida Administrative Code. Once awarded, Florida colleges will maintain their designation as a Collegiate Purple Star Campus for three academic years. The purpose of the Collegiate Purple Star Campus is to recognize colleges that demonstrate a commitment to supporting military families as set forth in Florida Statutes.
