This program is designed to prepare students for employment or advanced training in a variety of occupations in the information technology industry. The Program prepare students to complete the CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ industry certifications.
This program is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of four (4) occupational completion points (OCPs).

Additional Information
The purpose of the Computer Systems & Information Technology is to prepare students for the CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ exams, while at the same time instilling the work habits and ethical standards that will allow them to excel in the job market.
The CompTIA A+ certification is the starting point for a career in IT. The exams cover maintenance of PCs, mobile devices, laptops, operating systems and printers. This is the foundational level information for a career in computers and information technology.
The CompTIA Network+ certification is the next step on the path to a career in Computer Systems & Information Technology. The exam covers network technologies, installation and configuration, media and topologies, management, and security.
CompTIA Security+ is an international, vendor-neutral certification that demonstrates competency in: network security; compliance and operational security; threats and vulnerabilities; application, data and host security; access control and identity management; and cryptography.
Basic Skills: Unless exempt, students’ competency in reading, math, and language are assessed within six (6) weeks of program.
