This identification number will be printed on the applicant’s Airman Knowledge Test Report (AKTR) in replacement of the Applicant ID number.

The FTN is an 8-digit unique and permanent number assigned to each FAA certificate holder. The assignment of this number has historically happened upon establishing an account in IACRA or generated once a paper application is received by the FAA Airmen Registry.

To obtain an FTN in IACRA, applicants will need to register at the following link: HERE

If you already have an FAA certificate, then you already have an FTN. To find your FTN, you can log into IACRA and locate your FTN in the top left corner of the Applicant Console under “User Information."  LINK HERE

Upon establishing an FTN in IACRA, the candidate will then need to visit the PSI True Talent Online Scheduling page to create an account using their individual FTN number to schedule and pay for all FAA AKT exams. LOG IN HERE
