Teas Testing
The TEAS is a requirement in order to submit your application. You are strongly encouraged to take the TEAS as early as possible. The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a computer-based test comprised of 170 questions divided into four (4) core areas: reading, math, science, and English. The total time allotted to complete the test is 209 minutes.
You may take the TEAS up to three times per year but must wait a minimum of 14 days between tests. TEAS scores are valid for one (1) year from their test date.

Nursing is a healing profession for you and for those you serve. You’ll perform a broad range of duties in many diverse health care settings including caring for newborns, the aged, home-bound, or mentally ill. Under the supervision of a physician or a registered nurse, you’ll prepare patients for examination, administer medications, check patient’s vital signs, and sometimes perform routine laboratory tests.
This program is designed to prepare students for employment as Licensed Practical Nurse.
This program is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of two (2) occupational completion points (OCPs).
