CARES ACT - HIGHER EDUCATION EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND (HEERF) APPLICATION
(EMERGENCY GRANT FUNDS FOR CURRENT HANEY STUDENTS)
The federal government has passed the CARES Act which provides some funding, in the form of a grant, for Pell-eligible students who are undergoing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. These emergency grants are designed to cover expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19 (including eligible expenses under a student's cost of attendance, such as food, housing, course/program materials, technology, health care and childcare.) Dual-enrolled, ABE/GED/ESOL students are not eligible to receive this grant funding.
If you think you are eligible to receive this fund please contact Haney's Student Services office at (850) 767-5500 to request an application. Funds are limited and will be awarded as responsibly as possible. If you are awarded grant funds, you will be notified via email.
